This is all Clinton has on her side, though it’s not a very nice argument, and she’s not able to actually make it out loud. The so-called "Black Vote" for Obama won’t matter in 2008, just like it didn’t matter in 2004 and 2000 for Kerry and Gore, not because African Americans only make up 13.3% of the US population, but because their votes are simply not counted.

Remember the margins of "victory" in 2000 and 2004 — only thousands of votes in some places, and often with the vote tally going for the Democrats despite the electors going for the GOP.

According to Greg Palast’s study of public election records, over three million votes were successfully challenged in 2004, close to 90% of them from minority voters, and a significant number of those were US solders who happened to be serving overseas. This is how BushCo supports our troops, and our Democracy. This is just a game for them, with money and power the only rewards they care about, and no person too important not to throw under the bus for a quick and unfair advantage.
