If you haven’t checked it out, it’s worth exploring one architect’s theory about how Kfufu was built. What’s great about it is how 3D is used to convey these ideas. They did a great job on the 3D modeling and narration, though I’d hope for some more interactivity if this is meant as a teaching tool (and also to justify using real-time 3D vs. a movie). For example, some high-level tools to get you to the important places, but then the narration can kick in based on where you choose to go, vs. on a timer/script. The pop-in narrator was also a bit silly, but if you love Clippy, you’ll love this.
Still, it’s nicely done and worth checking out.
I was looking for some refrence on the pyramids for art when i ran across this website. Its very strang that i was talking to my brother, who is a engineer, i was talking to him a year ago about my idea of how the pyramids were built. I have my scetch of this that is almost the exact same theory. I think im convinced of this idea now seeing it from someone else whom i have never met nor talked to. Why waste more time on structure that you will have to take down when you can build in and up and then back down.
